About us

Cistelaier is one of the leading printed circuit board manufacturers in Europe and is part of the PCB Division of the Finmasi Group.

THE ESSENCE OF THE INDIVIDUAL, THE SPIRIT OF THE GROUP

THE PCB DIVISION

Three European PCB manufacturers, three different companies that work towards the same goal: to accommodate all the PCB market demand.

  • Cistelaier in Italy
  • Techci Rhône-Alpes in France
  • EPN Electroprint in Germany

Cistelaier, Techci and EPN have been manufacturing printed circuit boards since 1976, 1983 and 1992, respectively. Combined, they boast over 100 years of experience in manufacturing PCBs.
Their total production capacity is among the most significant in Europe.

Machinery, equipment, chemicals, along with basic raw materials and high-turnover consumables are common to the companies in the PCB Division. The management and planning of the three companies is in fact coordinated by the headquarters in Modena, Italy, in order to enhance its technological and cost synergies as well as to offer its customers the overall production capacity of the PCB Division to complement and integrate its specific capacity.
This allows us to offer our customers the choice of having their PCB manufactured where we believe is best in relation to the technology and required lead times, while retaining their usual contact person.

Cistelaier has believed in the value of diversification since day one: being accredited for all "critical market sectors" allows us to supply printed circuit boards for any electronic device.

Techci is located in the Rhône-Alpes region of France, the European cradle of technology for the aerospace and civil avionics sectors.
The most important portion of its turnover comes from these sectors.

EPN is based in the Thuringia region of Germany, not far from the border with the Czech Republic.
Having joined the PCB Division in January 2019, it manufactures the most commonly used type of printed circuit boards: double-sided and multi-layer.

DESIGN OPTIMISATION: FROM PROTOTYPE TO SERIES PRODUCTION

Our engineers are on hand to support our customers as early as the design stage, in order to optimise the PCB design for its manufacturing and the subsequent assembly of electronic components and to ensure the best performance at the lowest possible cost.

Our manufacturing and fast delivery service allows our customers to receive their PCB prototypes in record time.

This service also extends to the manufacturing and delivery of mass production batches.

VISION

To become the european benchmark for the manufacturing and supply of printed circuit boards at all technological levels by contributing to the improvement and safety of electronic devices used in every area of our lives.

MISSION

To continue to invest in our manufacturing plants, manufacturing technologies and develop our expertise and know-how so we can offer our customers the widest range of PCBs in terms of technology and service, from double-sided PCBs to high and superior technology rigid HDI and flex-rigid HDI PCBs in small, medium and high volumes, also supplied with quick delivery service.

BUSINESS MODEL

To supply from a few units in the first batch to mass production volumes, with co-design, prototyping and fast manufacturing services for our partners only.

OUR STORY

Cistelaier was established in 1998 by the merger of two Italian printed circuit board manufacturers, Cistel from Genoa and Laier from Modena, founded in 1976 and 1986 respectively.

We have grown by investing in the best technologies, the most up-to-date manufacturing methods and through the continuous development and enhancement of our employees.
